Gary Henry Schneider, 64, resident of Lacey Washington, passed away at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia on Friday, June 27, 2003. ?He will be forever in the hearts of all those who's lives he touched.



Gary was born June 7, 1939 in Flint Michigan to Henry and Amalia (Schulz) Schneider. ?He graduated from Lancaster High School in California, and went on to serve in the United State Army from 1959 - 1962. ?He married the love of his life Cleo on September 24, 1965, in Olympia Washington. ?Gary worked as an insurance agent for Pemco for 30 years. ?He belonged to the Christian Motorcyclist Association and was the president of Olympia Lightriders for four years. ?His passion for motorcycles led him on many adventures across the country with his wife along side him, participating in prison and street ministries along the way. ?He was known to many people as,"The Cross Man", for his large distribution of Crosses and Bibles, on the road and here at home. ?He was also a member of Faith Assembly of Lacey Church. ?Gary also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, the Mariners, the Western Channel and spending time with his family and friends.



He is survived by his wife Cleo, of Lacey, Children: Roni (Jerry) Brock of South Carolina, Gary (Cindy) Wheeler of Olympia, Pam (Mike) Newcomb of Lacey, Cassie Schneider of Lacey. ?His Mother Amalia Schneider of Idaho, and his Brothers: Dale Schneider of Idaho, and Paul (Linda) Schneider of California. ?His grandchildren, JerryLee, Michelle, Josh, Michael, Melyssa, Joey, Cami, Sean, Clayton & Faythe, A Great Grandchild, Shannon Elizabeth, a niece Mollie, numerous Aunts, Uncles cousins and many other relatives and close friends, and STRYKER - the dog.



Services will be held at the Faith Assembly of Lacey on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. ?Gary had a private family interment, and was laid to rest at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Tumwater. ?Please click sign guest book to leave a message for the family.
