In Loving Memory of Pamela Dawn Chapel-Dyson.
Pam was born on August 8, 1975 in Kent, Washington. She died on April 6, 2005 at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Virginia from postpartum cardiomyopathy.
Pam leaves behind her parents, Bud Chapel and Sheila Chapman; her husband, Rashaad Dyson; her newborn daughter, Alaysha Dyson; her brother, Robert Chapel; her sisters, Brianna and Sarah Chapman; her grandparents, Jess and Viva Richey and Robert and Dorothy Blume; and her aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Pam's son, Andrell Chapel, preceded her in death.
Pam graduated from North Thurston High School, and was attending Thomas Nelson Community College, where she was a Phi Theta Kappa honor student. Pam was a warm and loving person who loved her family and friends very much. We who loved her feel so blessed to have had her here with us even though her time was too short. Pam was such a warm-spirited person, who made all of us instantly happy at the sight of her beautiful smile, the infectious sound of her laughter, and the warm embrace of her hugs. She will be deeply missed and thought of often by all those whose lives she has touched.
A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 5930 Mullen Road S.E., Lacey, on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. The family suggests donations in Pamela's name to Multiple Sclerosis research. To leave a message for the family, please go to: www.woodlawnfh.net"
