Fran Lorello, 81, of Olympia WA, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Fran was the second of 10 children born to Ina Larsen Wilcox in Siletz OR. In her early teens she moved in with her Aunt Pat and Uncle Ralph Peoples of Yelm WA, where she worked on the family dairy farm, milking cows, baking bread, and caring for her younger siblings. At the age of 19, she married and began her new journey as wife, and mother to 5 beautiful children. Fran worked at the Tyee Motel and retired in 1986 after 23 years of service. Beautiful woman, loving mother, doting wife, loyal friend, she touched the hearts and lives of all who knew her. She was adored and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Major Joseph Lorello. She is survived by her children: Robert (Kathleen) Shriner, Wanda (Dennis) Spalding, David (Evelyn) Shriner, Kevin Shriner, and Lori (Mike) Brewer, 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren; sisters: Betty, Gerri, Joy, Ialeen and Margaret; and brothers: Sonny and Danny. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, February 11th at 9:00 am, followed by a reception at Woodlawn Funeral Home from 11-12:30. A procession to Tahoma National Cemetery will leave Woodlawn at 12:30 for a 2:15 burial.
