Surrounded by her family, Donna Jean (Ritter) Waters peacefully left this world on April 10, 2012 where she joined her husband of 57 years, George who passed in 2004. She is survived by her sisters: Virginia Bache of Plains MT, Judith Phillips of Northport, WA and Ardith Walley of Olympia, WA. She was a loving and devoted mother to her four children: Nancy, Bill, Ardy, and Kim; was Mother-in-law to Mike, Cheri and Gene. She is loved by her eight grandchildren: Stacy, Nicole, Danielle, Torina, Channal, Darrick, Destiny and Megan, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Donna was born in 1929 to Art and Cleo Ritter in Ione, Washington.

She attended high school in Auburn, Washington. She moved to South Dakota where she met her husband, George (Bud) Waters. They were married in Sioux Falls on December 9, 1946. They lived in South Dakota and Montana before coming back to Washington. In 19__, they moved to Olympia. Donna was a caring Nurse who worked for Thurston County Health Department in Olympia for _ years. After retiring, She and Bud ran an adult care home. She loved music, going to the Casino and spending time with family. Donna was generous in spirit, extremely compassionate with strength, integrity and honor.

A service will be held Saturday, April 14 at 3:00 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Lacey, Washington.
