Ann attended Our Lady of Fatima grade school. By the age of 10, Ann stood 5’ 5” tall and looked like an adult. Her mother, Norma, would have to carry her birth certificate on family outings in order to prove that Ann was young enough for child ticket prices. Ann was very relieved when she was no longer a “child” for ticketing purposes. In 1955, Ann’s last “child” ticket experience occurred when she visited her Aunt Tini in California and went to the newly opened Disneyland for her birthday celebration.
